Just watched it, thanks a lot man! Great feedback! Yeah you're right about wombo-comboing stuff, it just wasnt that obvious unfortunately that you can also slide and throw enemies and objects in the air. With that, you can combo shotgun shot for example. But anyway, great video!
This was a ton of fun. Really dug the kicking mechanic, and once I figured out the pencil drawing bombs bit I loved that too. I think using "ink" is an odd choice, as it's a pencil. I guess it sounds cooler than Graphite though.
I love the game, however you should add a check for if enemies are out of bounds, because I ended up getting softlocked on level 3 (i believe) because an enemy was clipped out of bounds.
I tried the demo myself. There are a few issues I wanted to bring up:
-When backpedaling, kicking won't work but hitting the key still consumes stamina. -I've gotten two gunmen to pick a fight with each other and they really struggle to hit each other at point-blank range. They kind of aim off to the side at each other's feet. -During one instance where I drew and kicked a bomb at a group of zombies, the bomb veered off to the left as it tried to hit a gunman on an elevated platform. -I got stuck in a small corner near where the heal pickup is. As soon as you grab it and turn left, look left again before heading down the path to the right and you'll see a tube with some zombie inside. I went behind that and got caught inside a corner between some boxes when I fell through the opening.
Those aside, I love the sound design. It's so dang crisp! I also really enjoy watching the sprites go full 3d as they helplessly flop around in the air when you slide into them. It's quite humorous. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this.
Watched ABG's video just a moment ago. I'm very interested in this game, but will you either provide an alternative set of imagery to the sudden hallucinations or some option to turn them off? That instantaneous flashing of white is extremely unpleasant.
This is unexpectdly VERY well made. I got hooked on story, the gameplay is very good. tooke me a while to get used to mouseaim, but when i got it, everything went downhill. this is a very good game, visuals are amazingly good and fitting, combat is PUNCHY and fast as fuk boi, story is very interesting. 10\10.
Very very fun!! I love the sound design and music, movement feels very fun and snappy, feedback is amazing, combat feels very fun from the beginning. Look forward to seeing more :)

😥where did that happen on level3?
The first encounter. If I clipped it I would put it here, but alas, I did not.
One of the enemies just slid off screen as I was dealing with them.

Thanks! Will check the issues!
Oops, to clarify, I was talking about the heal power-up, not a regular pickup.
